Good Foods to Eat To Lose Belly Fat
Losing belly fat can be a hard row to hoe. It seems that belly fat pools more for women than men. In many cases to trim belly fat all you need to do is change your diet. One of the best things you can do to relieve some of the bloat is to drink water. The more water you drink the less your gut will hold on to.
It sounds counter intuitive that you should add more water to your diet to reduce the water that causes bloat but if your body knows that you will have a fresh supply of liquid gold soon it will not retain the water causing bloat. Once you add enough water to your diet then you can really get down to the business of getting rid of the belly fat.
Beans are a great food to get rid of belly fat. They are very high in fiber and protein which can help to flush some of that fat out. They are also very filling which means you will feel satisfied after a meal that includes beans which ultimately means less snacking.
Full Grain Breads
Whole grain or full grain breads can easily help you get rid of belly fat. They are chock full of fiber and are good for you! They will provide you with the energy from good carbs that will sustain you.
Fish contains healthy fats and is full of protein especially salmon or tuna. Your body has to work hard to digest lean meat and fish because of the amount of protein that the meat contains. Avoid cooking fish in saturated fats, of course fried fish is not a good option.
Berries are little powerhouses of fiber. They are low calorie, chock full of anti oxidants and contain enough fiber to really make a difference. Do not choose berries that have been processed in juice or jellied. Berries straight off the bush are best. Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries are perfect as they are and can be used as a snack through out the day.
Oranges, lemons and grapefruits can help to flatten your mid section tire! It is strongly recommended that you eat the entire fruit and not consume just the juice. Fruit juice is a better option than most other beverages but it is also void of the filling fiber that you get when you eat the entire fruit.
Eat rough cut unflavored oatmeal and use berries only to sweeten. Oatmeal is a wonder food that can help to lower cholesterol and flush the fat out of your body. It also has the unique capability of filling you up fast and really sticking around for awhile to keep your energy up.
Low fat yogurt can help to reduce some of that bloat in your belly. Yogurt works in two ways it helps to keep healthy bacteria in your gut which reduces bloat caused by an overgrowth of bad bacteria and it is rich in protein and good carbs which fills you up!
